3 bundles of logs have been reported adrift 2 NM south of
Gower Point at 08/1300 PDT.

Considered a hazard to navigation.

A red conical steel buoy is partially submerged at the entrance to
Deas Basin at 1200 PDT May 08, 2008.

The buoy is fully submerged at high water.


P-0679(2008) NORTHERN INSIDE PASSAGE - ARTHUR PASSAGE

A net float approximately 75ft long with nets has been reported
adrift near Oona Pt south end of Arthur Passage in position
53 59N 130 13W (NAD unknown) drifting north.

Considered a hazard to navigation.


P-0678(2008) VANCOUVER HARBOUR - ENGLISH BAY

Canadian Naval Units will conduct submersible operations in the approaches
to Vancouver Harbour from 0900 PDT until 1200 PDT May 08 2008.

Mariners transiting the area are requested to provide the operation a
500 meter clearance.


P-0677(2008) SANSUM NARROWS


Activated:0031 08 May 2008


Replacement of the transmission line conductors, 1 km north of a line joining Arbutus Point and Maxwell Point, will take place during daylight hours May 08 until May 13 2008.

The tending patrol boats, "Chemainus Eagle" and "Kestral" will monitor VHF Channel 11.


P-0676(2008) PRINCE RUPERT HARBOUR

An unlit mooring buoy with 300 ft of boom has been secured in Pillsbury Cove in position 54 19.470N 130 23.344W (chart datum unknown), to asssit with salvage efforts on a grounded log barge.

Vessels transiting the area are requested to minimize wash and to stay clear.


P-0675(2008) STRAIT OF GEORGIA

A section of dock 12x10 feet has been reported
adrift in position 49 20.0N 123 32.1W (NAD unknown)
(apx 3 mi south of Gower Pt). The dock is of wooden construction
and has drums for floation and is considered a
hazard to navigation.
