Military Exercise Area WG (north of Nanaimo), shown on Canadian charts
3463 and 3512 will be active across the full range area on Sep 09 2010 from
0800 until 1800 PDT for surface-subsurface operations. Area WG is
extremely hazardous during operations and is closed to marine traffic.
Mariners are required to remain well clear. A safe transit corridor of 1/2 NM
north of Winchelsea Island and 1/2 NM east of Ballenas Island is available for
passage. Notice to Mariners 35 Annual Edition refers. Daily range activity
may change without prior notice. Mariners may contact Winchelsea Island
Control on VHF Channel 10 for additional information.

Prince Rupert Marine Communications and Traffic Services (comprised of
Coast Guard Radio and Vessel Traffic Services) may be subject
to reductions in delivery of service from 1900 PDT September 07 until
0700 PDT September 08 2010.

Distress and safety services will not be affected.

Mariners may experience delays with service provided by the
Centre and are requested to monitor the appropriate frequencies
with extra caution when transiting or operating within the Prince Rupert
MCTS service area.
