Unit 12 Receives Grant in Aid from District of Sechelt
The Sunshine Coast Marine Rescue Society (SCMRS) made application to the District of Sechelt for a Grant in Aid to offset some of the expenses required for insurance, moorage and operating costs of their fast response vessel, the MV Ken Moore.As a result, the SCMRS was granted $3000.00 to assist with the ongoing operating costs.
The Sunshine Coast Marine Rescue Society on behalf of Unit 12, Halfmoon Bay Coast Guard Auxiliary would like to thank the District of Sechelt and Mayor Darren Inkster for their support in this matter.
