     <description>The Canadian Coast Guard Auxiliary Pacific (CCGA-P) and Memorial University in Newfoundland began a partnership in 2005, to create a Training Simulator for Fast Rescue Craft: FRCsim. Recognizing that the risks involved in navigating these vessels in all weather conditions, the CCGA-P looked to enhance their existing training program with something that would help crews learn the specialized skills associated with blind pilotage, such as navigating in thick fog for example, at high speed.</description>

     <description>A Multi Agency Search on the water was conducted for a missing jet-skier early Monday morning, August 6th, 2007 in the Sechelt Inlet. CCGA12, CAF Cormorant helicopter, CCG Cape Caution, CCG Westview 1 and private vessels took part in an extended search for the jet ski&apos;s sole occupant. Eventually the search was handed over to RCMP. </description>
